ROANE VINEYARDS WINS WINE AWARD |
 Roane
Vineyards 2007 “Blue Goose”, a semi-sweet
white wine, has been awarded a silver medal
in the International Eastern Wine
Competition.
Now in its
33rd year, the IEWC is one of the
oldest and largest competitions in the
United States, held each may at Watkins Glen
in the Finger Lakes region of New York.
This year
there were nearly 1800 entries from the US,
Canada, and other foreign countries.
“We have won
several awards with our “Blue Goose” wine
over the years including the gold medal for
semi-sweet white wine in West Virginia in
2005, gold medal at the Dixie Classic Fair
in Winston-Salem , North Carolina in 2006”,
said winery owner, Paul Taylor. “However,
the IEWC is the largest and toughest
competition we have ever entered”, he said.
Total
production of the 2007 “Blue Goose” was 103
cases most of which has been distributed to
retail outlets through out West Virginia.

Pittsburgh, PA Their first child.

SUMMER TOUR |
Summer
of 2007, Paul & his daughter toured the
towns and wineries featured in the movie
Sideways and had a great time!

The Taylor Foursome headed out to
Hawaii for their summer tour in
2008. The wives got to go along on
this trip or it could have been the
last for the fearsome foursome. A
great time was had by all. A great
escape from the work in the
vineyard.

We can use

restaurant . We can design a logo for you. We
also can do special event labels for your
company, or for weddings etc.

Try out wines
with your favorite foods and then share them
with others by filling out the form on our
website. We will sent a free bottle of
Appalachian Zest Sauce to those people who
submit the next
five recipes.

We now ship
wine to most states. We have special
shipping boxes for 1,2,3,4,6,and 12 bottles.
However, since the Supreme Court Ruling in the
Granhulm v. Heald case, many states have been
changing their shipping laws. West Virginia is
